Deacons / Deaconess Ministry The deacons and deaconess ministiries are two ministries of the St. Paul Baptist Church that serves as a single ministry. Together our goal is to serve God by ministering to the people of God and others through our pastor. Our purpose is to assist the Pastor in perfecting the Saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephisians 4:11) According to Acts 6: 3-6, the Deacons areas of ministry include: 1. Leading in preparing the people of God for worship and serving Church Ordinance. 2. Home, Hospital and Sick Visitation. 3. Deacon's family visitation to assist in caring and nurturing the people of God.
